My offer in Yoga

What is Yoga?

Yoga is an ancient science to healthy living originated in India which goes back thousands of years. Yoga includes specific physical exercises or postures (Asanas), deep breathing (Pranayama), and occasionally meditation (Dhyana).

There are many styles of yoga. Each of them is a complete discipline in itself. Combining the different styles of yoga helps the emotional, intellectual, and physical aspects of your life to develop in harmony. Yoga means to join or to unite together.

My offer in Yoga:

My aim is to guide you with various physical exercises (Asanas) and controlled breathing techniques (Pranayama) to a state of more awareness and knowledge of body and self. Gradually you will experience a visible difference of more flexibility, strength, better balance and alignment. Each pose will take you into a deeper level to your practice where real changes can be made. You will experience after a while a visible difference.

We work with physical exercises (Asanas) on the spine and central nervous system. The spine gains strengths and flexibility and increases motion in the joints and flexibility in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Asanas are massaging the internal organs, boosting their function and improving circulation and overall health thereby reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

We adjust breathing through controlled breathing techniques (Pranayama). Controlled breathing techniques help to improve your muscle strength as you move into poses, holding them and releasing poses. Pranayama also improves concentration and productivity.

After every yoga session we focus on meditation techniques (Dhyana). This helps us to re-energize body and mind.

What else can Yoga do for us:

  • Reduces stress and mental fatigue
  • Improves circulation and overall health
  • Reduces risk of chronic disease
  • Enhances concentration and productivity
  • Subtle adjustments to physical alignment allow fora stronger foundation, deeper stretch, and greater understanding of yoga
  • Controls weight
